Best (Free) Job Sites

Tired of being asked to pay or sign up just to see what job postings are available? Having trouble wading through repetitive LinkedIn job listings to find the hidden gems?

These are my favorite FREE job sites catered to different job types — remote, hourly, full-time, part-time, start-up — to help you find your next great role.

Best Free Job Sites

For start-up jobs

AngelList: https://angel.co/jobs

AngelList is the best place to find a variety of roles (both technical and non-technical) at start-ups. They claim “jobs you can’t find anywhere else, at startups you won’t hear about anywhere else.” Companies use AngelList to find investors or recruit talent which makes it a perfect “one-stop shop” for start-ups. Create a free profile, browse job listings, and apply all through the website.

For remote jobs

Remote.co: https://remote.co/

In addition to hosting thousands of remote job listings, Remote.co provides information for companies looking to expand into remote work or simply improve upon their existing remote work culture. Their blog is also full of great remote work tips — like finding a digital nomad Slack community, remote team conflict resolution, and recommended remote collaboration tools.

For hourly jobs

Snagajob: https://www.snagajob.com/

Snagajob is “America’s #1 hourly work marketplace.” Featuring an easy to filter search tool, browse 700,000 employers in North America to find the right hourly job for you. Not sure where to start? Snagajob also has a useful blog with articles including “highest paying hourly and trade jobs by state.” Whether you’re a student, an experienced professional, or looking for additional income in your off-hours, Snagajob has tons of options.

Next Steps

These sites are great tools regardless of where you are in your career. Don’t forget to use your network and sites like LinkedIn to research hiring managers, companies, who works at those companies, and more to determine if a job is the right fit for you.
